(I'm posting Ashley's latest email for those of you that may not have received it. - Georgia)
I’m finally on my ship (USS Nimitz) on deployment. I just got my email address set up, so hopefully I’ll find some time to keep in touch with everyone. ashley.miller@cvn68.navy.mil
Work for me starts at 0715 and I get off around 2030-2100, head to work out, get ready for bed, crash out, and do it all again the next day. I’m working in Air department with the cameras and lighting used on the flight deck. So far I’m loving it!!
My address out here is:
IC3 Miller, Ashley
USS Nimitz CVN-68
AIR/V-2/VLA
FPO-AP 96620-2820
With mail, it takes awhile to get here, sometimes a month, sometimes more, sometimes less.
With e-mail, everyone says the trick is to number them. Sometimes they get lost in cyberspace on the way here or the way out.
Hope all’s well with everyone back in the real world! Keep in touch! J Much love!

Keep up with me here!
Out in the MidEast on deployment. I'll try to be updating this blog when I can with what I can. If you want to keep up with what we're actually doing, you can check it out at the USS Nimitz website. (In case the link is broken: http://www.nimitz.navy.mil/)
I should be getting my ship's email address soon, as well as our physical address, so I will let you all know when I get them.

I'll be in Austin tomorrow!!! I should be getting in about noon, and I'll be on leave until October 9 when I'll head to Naval Station Coronado in San Diego.
Once I get to San Diego, I'll hopefully be headed out to meet the Nimitz over on their WestPac deployment and won't be back in the States until the spring.
Hopefully I get to see as many of you as possible while I'm home...looking forward to some down time before I get off and running again!
